The Recycle and Reorder Process

Hey Screen Printers, we’ve got another green screen printing tip for you! This video is all about helping you make your shop a little more Earth friendly. All you need is one trash bin. Simple, right? We are calling it the recycle and reorder process.

Recycle

In the United States, almost 75% of our daily used materials are recyclable but we only recycle about 30% of those. The recycle and reorder process is a super easy and simple trick that can help us get a little closer to that 75%. Take a large empty bin and use it to toss all your used and empty containers. This way, whenever you are taking out your recycling you only have to check one place to find all your containers. You want to make sure to place it in a central location, so that you don’t forget about it and it is easy for you or your team to use.

Reorder

This process has an added bonus! It is also a great way for you to keep up with your inventory. You can look at what you have in the bin at the end of a day, week, or month and judge what materials you are going through the most and what products you need to reorder. It’s such an easy process to solve two big problems in most screen printing shops.
