Android users will soon be getting a little less bloatware on their phones.

1) What applications should I be using?

This question isn’t all that different to “how long is a piece of string?” There are a ton of great applications out there, with more being released all the time.

Apple is widely expected to bring Force Touch to the next iPhone, and now we're getting some idea of how it might work. According to 9to5Mac, Force Touch will be used as a way to access shortcuts, pull up menus, and activate new functions. If that sounds kind of confusing, well, it is — for now, at least.

Game of Thrones, based on George R.R. Martin’s Song of Ice and Fire book series, has captivated audiences for five seasons now, with a sixth already in production. The show might be set in a fantasy kingdom reminiscent of our own medieval period, but that doesn’t mean it can’t offer some invaluable lessons for designers.

Date Released: 29th June 2015. Netbooks didn’t have a lot going for them, but they had a clear purpose. Their cramped keyboards, dull displays, and feeble processors couldn’t detract from their eminent usefulness as fast note takers and convenient web browsers on the move. Sony’s Xperia tablets — and tablets in general — have the opposite problem: they’re blessed with all the advantages of high design and precise engineering, but none of the purpose of the humble netbook.

The music and typeface industries have a lot in common. Both deal with rampant piracy. Both see artists having to sell their creations as retail work. Both make Kanye West emotional. I'm assuming Kanye gets emotional about music, at least — he's only explicitly said that about fonts.
